Going Home
I am looking forward to getting home, I have been out of Mauritius since June and I am very tired. It will be great to spend some time on the beach and get back into my lifestyle of shorts, flip flops and warm weather.

Today is New Years Eve. I am enjoying the day at home working on my project. As 2013 draws to a close, it’s a good time to reflect on the highlights of the year and to plan ahead for next year.
After more than 2 days working with Kendo UI window widget, I have managed to use it in a fashion. I was expecting much more from it, but it looks like I was on the wrong page.
My wife has put a very noisy message tone called “Kiss me” on her phone.
Gotta get one of these.
So cool
Today I am in Malaysia on the way back to Australia after 45 days in Mauritius with my young family.
I know I am tired by I don’t feel like sleeping, I just watched the movie, “The Help” fantastic movie I really enjoyed it even though tears were running down my face most of the time.
The movie made me really think about life and how it must have been to life during slavery in America. I sure don’t want any slaves working for me.
It also could just be that I am very tired and as such my emotions are stronger.
My son Evan was very upset that I left him again, I miss my boys already, it was great to see them riding there plastic motor bikes around the house, they were really good at controlling them.
This looks like a pretty interesting movie and typical of the sort of stuff I watch on YouTube.

We visited the Royal Eye & Ear Hospital today, very impressed by how professional and well equipped the team is. After getting a referral to an eye specialist and being told we had to wait a month for an appointment it was clear that the only option was to visit the emergency dept here at the Eye & Ear Hospital.
